Adoption Program
Through interdisciplinary work, we prepare, support, and evaluate adoption processes to ensure optimal integration and a favorable adjustment process within the family.
We present the most relevant aspects for national and international adoption processes:
National Indeterminate Adoption Process
If you are a Colombian family or reside in Colombia, you can choose to begin the adoption process with the ICBF (Spanish for Colombian Family Welfare Institute ) or with a IAPA (Spanish for Institutions authorized to carry out the adoption program) like ours. Be aware that you can only complete the process with one entity, not both at the same time.
Who can adopt? Single individuals, married couples, permanent partners with at least two years of continuous cohabitation (in a common-law marriage), Colombians or foreigners, and same-sex couples.

International Indeterminate Adoption Process
In Colombia, international adoption processes are primarily intended for children and adolescents with special characteristics and needs, such as: being ten (10) years old or older, belonging to a group of two siblings, where the oldest of the siblings is ten (10) years old or older, belonging to a group of three (3) or more siblings, children and adolescents with physical, cognitive, or psychosocial disabilities, being of any age, and having a chronic, serious, and permanent illness or condition that requires specialized care from the health system.
This process is carried out in coordination with international organizations.

Specialized Psychological Support Service – ICBF Program
Psychological support for girls, boys, and adolescents whose rights have been violated due to sexual or domestic violence, negligence, neglect, or abandonment, among other forms, with the aim of mitigating the impact on their mental health and providing them with tools to reframe the painful events they experienced. We also accompany families or their support networks to create safe environments through affective bonding and to promote the holistic development of children. We are one of three institutions in Bogotá that holds a contribution contract (contrato de aportes) with the Colombian Family Welfare Institute (ICBF) for the Specialized Psychological Support program, from 2016 to the present, in full compliance with ICBF technical guidelines.
